Collaboration brings success
The most important thing to understand is that design is a collaborative process between the client and the designer. You won't get good design work unless you're involved. We need to tap into the specialized knowledge you have about your company or organization, and we need to get your feedback and input on the designs we come up with.
Creativity is a process If you understand the creative process, you'll understand us better. In a nutshell, there are three steps to successful design: research, fermentation and execution.
In the first step, we gather information, ask questions, read materials, talk to customers, conduct research. The next step, fermentation, is where all that information is left to agitate and percolate -- it's the thinking phase. It may not seem like much is happening, but this step is essential for those eurekas that make good design great. The final step is the execution -- on paper, on the computer, on the back of a napkin -- of the results of all that creativity.
A dot for every i and a cross for every t There is, of course, the more practical side to working with a design firm: the quotations, the processes, the approvals and the delivery.
We've built an internal system that gets the job done. We strive to keep the client informed at every step and we try to eliminate the nasty surprises with ongoing communication. Our goal is to have clients who are so content that they recommend us to their friends and associates.
